"My McNuggets ARE an Emergency!"

You know that feeling when a blog seems to be winding down? When the blogger starts posting only once a week, and then instead of acute political analysis, he posts stuff like this?:

Angered that her local McDonald's was out of Chicken McNuggets, a Florida woman called 911 three times to report the fast food "emergency."

Latreasa Goodman, 27, last Saturday called police to complain that a cashier--citing a McDonald's all sales are final policy--would not give her a refund. When cops responded to the restaurant, Goodman told them, "This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one."

Go here for the rest of the hilarity...

Yet another intended consequence of giving the world a bunch of government freebies--an attitude of entitlement--in everything.

Hope all is well--I'm trying to get back to blogging--slowly. :)

What a contempt-filled expression she has.

You know she's gonna sue right? I'm just waiting for her to hold a press conference, talk about racism, etc.

It takes a special kind of personality disorder to do what this person did. Putting her chicken McNuggets above the security and safety of others.

are you kidding? This is ground-breakingly hilarious stuff...essential for it to pop up on a blog!...imagine if they'd run out of milkshakes, she'd probably hold a hospital hostage or something... ;-)

What a coincidence. I called 911 a few days ago when they ran out of Charmin at my local grocery store. It's an emergency that I have soft, fluffy, toilet paper!!!!

Seriously.. there is something weird with Florida. All the bizarre news stories seem to emanate from that state.

Feh. I refer to Florida as, "California-East". I've had 2 ex- girlfriends from Florida, and I refuse to even date anyone from there, ever again. And don't even get me started on the New-England retirees that flock there.
