Grand Jury clears Joe Horn

Let the whining by the libtards begin:

A Harris County grand jury on Monday ended the rancorous seven-month debate over Pasadena resident Joe Horn's decision to gun down two illegal immigrant burglars in his front yard, concluding the act was a justifiable use of deadly force and not murder.

The grand jury heard two weeks of testimony from witnesses, including Horn. They likely also heard his breathless 911 call, during which the increasingly frustrated retiree ignored a dispatcher's pleas to stay inside and out of harm's way. The Nov. 14 call ended with the sound of Horn racking a shell into his 12-gauge shotgun's chamber followed by three gunshots that killed Colombians Diego Ortiz, 30, and Hernando Riascos Torres, 38.

Aww...ain't that a bitch? I'll bet the amount of break-ins by illegal aliens has dropped precipitously since Horn opened fire. The original 911 call:

Can someone please serve up a little cheese to go with Lisa Falkenberg's whine?:

This case has never been about gun rights, or self-defense. There are few people in this state who question someone's right to protect themselves with a gun if his or her life, family's life or property are threatened.

That wasn't the case with Horn.

The little old man from Pasadena gunned down two men like dogs. For a bag of loot.

No, Lisa. This was not "for a bag of loot". This was because two illegal alien dirtbags brazenly broke into and robbed a home. Let's not take our eye off the ball here.

Lesson...you don't want to get blown away, don't rob. Do you think robbery crimes would go down if there was a Joe Horn living in every neighborhood?

My original Joe Horn post.

Four "Bird Rock Bandits" take plea deal

No surfing in jail...:

SANDIEGO – Four of the five men who faced murder charges in the death of a professional surfer in La Jolla last year pleaded guilty Friday to lesser felonies, in a case that sparked interest and outrage in the beach community.

Eric House, 21, Orlando Osuna, 23, and Matthew Yanke, 21, all pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter during a court hearing. Henri “Hank” Hendricks, 22, pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact.

(photo from the San Diego Union Tribune...the now-guilty defendants with their legal eagles)

The 5th "Bird Rock Bandit" has decided that he'll roll the dice:

The fifth defendant, Seth Cravens, has chosen to go to trial in connection with the beating death of Emery Kauanui Jr., who died several days after fighting with the men outside his mother's home.

Cravens, 22, pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, assault and battery. His trial date is set for Aug. 22.

La Jolla is safer today now that these poseur surfers and wanna-be gangstas will be spending some time behind bars:

According to the terms of the plea bargains, House now faces a maximum sentence of three years and six months in prison. Osuna, who in addition to manslaughter pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor battery, could be sentenced to up five years and six months.

Yanke also pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor battery and faces a maximum of three years and six months in prison.

Hendricks, a former University of New Hampshire quarterback, could be sentenced to a three-year prison term, according to prosecutors. However, the judge said he would not oppose reducing the charge to a misdemeanor after two years of probation.

For all of you gutless turds who keep leaving your profanity-filled anonymous comments in defending these morons, what do you say now? Don't give me that crap that their lawyers are spinning...i.e. that they took the deal because they really weren't guilty, but wanted to end the possibility of a jury making a mistake. They are going to jail (with the possible exception of Hendricks).

Look at the photo of them in their expensive suits as they sit before the judge...especially Osuna (sitting in the center). Osuna doesn't look anything like this characature from his My Space page:

Now Osuna and his buddies will be "rolling" in jail.

Wish to comment? Remember, I do NOT post anonymous comments. You can make a name up and if you are articulate enough to leave your comment without a string of profanities (gee..."friends" of these guys use profanity?...who knew?) I'll leave your comment up.

How a liberal would talk to a child rape victim

"...I'm going to rip them apart...I'm going to make sure that the rest of their life is ruined...that when they're 8 years old they're going to throw up...when they're 12 years old they won't sleep...when they're 19 years old they'll have nightmares...and they'll never have a relationship with anybody. And that's not because I'm a nice guy... "

What?

WHAT?!?!

WTF!?!?!

Here's Massachusetts Scumbag...er...State Representative James Fagan who defends his opposition to Jessica's Law:

James Fagan thinks that a life sentence for a child rapist is "Draconian". What a dirtbag. And he makes no bones about the depths of depravity he would go to in order to defend his client...were his client a child rapist.

Basically James Fagan supports the "rights" of someone who would do this to a child, but he doesn't support putting someone this sick away for good so he could never hurt another child.

Wanna let James Fagan know what a scum-sucking waste of life he is?

Here.

The This Goes to 11 Hotel Review

In Los Angeles tonight...I just returned from seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at the Hollywood Bowl. The review will be over at The Music Chamber in the next day or so.

I'm staying tonight at the Biltmore Hotel...a hotel with a little history. Most famously, it's where they shot the hotel scene from Ghostbusters. The irony here comes about 1:22 in:

So let me tell you, the beds are very comfy and the water pressure in the shower could blast the ugly off of Helen Thomas (well, maybe not). But to get a freakin' glass of milk here, I'd need to call room service...and the charge would be EIGHT FIFTY plus tip for a 12 ounce bottle. Vending machines? Conveniently out of order. Parking? FORTY FREAKIN DOLLARS...plus the tips.

Oh well. I guess if I want to stay in luxury, I have to pay, right?

But what I wasn't expecting was the bad illegal alien problem they have here:

Good gosh...this thing was three inches long! And excuse me for mistaking this for an illegal alien, but it was running very quickly across my floor and clearly living in the shadows.

Oh...and speaking of cockroaches:

WASHINGTON (June 25) - Hundreds of people have been arrested and 21 children rescued in what the FBI is calling a five-day roundup of networks of pimps who force children into prostitution.

In all, authorities arrested 345 people — including 290 adult prostitutes — during the operation that ended this week. Since 2003, 308 pimps and hookers have been convicted in state and federal courts of forcing youngsters into prostitution, and 433 child victims have been rescued, Mueller said.

The cities targeted in this week's sting are: Atlanta; Boston; Dallas; Detroit; Houston; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Miami; Montgomery County, Md.; Oakland, Calif.; Phoenix; Reno, Nev.; Sacramento, Calif.; Tampa; Toledo, Ohio and Washington.

Another ridiculous Supreme Court ruling

How much worse will it get with Barry Obama feeding the Supreme Court even more tree-hugging "justices"?:

The Supreme Court on Wednesday outlawed executions of people convicted of raping a child.

In a 5-4 vote, the court said the Louisiana law allowing the death penalty to be imposed in such cases violates the Constitution's ban on cruel and unusual punishment.

"The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child," Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in his majority opinion. His four liberal colleagues joined him, while the four more conservative justices dissented.

Well isn't that nice? What would Kennedy consider to be "proportional"? Is there any crime more horrific and disgusting than the rape of a child?

Granted, it's been 44 years since anyone has been executed for a non-murder crime, but instead of striking down Louisiana's law, perhaps we should be talking Constituional Amendment here. Think about it....RAPING A CHILD. I'm with Samuel Jackson's character here...rape a child...yes you deserve to die and I hope you burn in hell:

States rights anyone? Thank you Sam Alito:

In this case, proponents of the Louisiana law said the trend was toward the death penalty, a point mentioned by Justice Samuel Alito in his dissent.

"The harm that is caused to the victims and to society at large by the worst child rapists is grave," Alito wrote. "It is the judgment of the Louisiana lawmakers and those in an increasing number of other states that these harms justify the death penalty."

But are they really?:

Fun with Soccer

Yeah, I know. I have a mean streak:

For my money, I just can't get enough of getting hit in the nads from point blank range...or of little girls getting smoked by soccer balls:

What?

OK, maybe this isn't so funny...

And the first Gold Medal of the 2008 Olympics should go to...

...China.

For this:

What's remarkable isn't that China is now the world's #1 producer of greenhouse gasses. The truly unbelievable thing is that Al Gore and his minions criticized the United States severely for not signing the Kyoto agreement.

Of course, they never got around to mentioning that Kyoto never included China or India in its strictures.

Lien Chen takes the lead during the Women's 1600KM bicycle race at China's Olympic qualfying

Well crap. When the hell is Algore (PBUH) going to fly his private jet to Bejing to tell the Chinese that they are killing Mother Earth?

Just sayin'...

From Rick Moran:

In an interview for the History Channel program "Earth at Risk," Gore says with a straight face in answer to a question about Chinese immunity from Kyoto that the US should adopt the Kyoto protocols even if China doesn't participate "to set a good example" to the Chinese. This, Gore believes, would have so moved the Chinese that they would voluntarily cut their own emissions.

And this guy would have been president on 9/11.

Screw it...I'm rooting for Tiger (Updated)

Just finished watching Tiger Woods eagle the 18th at Torrey Pines...

The dude is playing on one leg. I've played that course...it's a bitch to walk.

He's got kind of a Willis Reed thang goin':

Sunday update: Watching Tiger hack up the first hole on Sunday reminds me of how humbling the game of golf is. I've made 4 and 5 the last two times I played at Torrey Pines...

Of course I wasn't playing with a surgically-repaired knee, I was playing with twice the fairway and from a tee box about 85 yards closer. But still...

Happy Flag Day

I have always liked Flag Day. It's unique. It's Patriotic, and it usually fell on the last day of school. In my world, every day is "Flag Day". Happy Flag Day, everybody.

(Update from Nigel: Thank you, Yiddish for not making the same mistake our friends over at Six Meat Buffet made last year. We've already pissed off enough people. Though I'd be up for a Freddie Mercury tribute anytime)

Something to piss me off while I'm on the road

So like...if you are on Interstate 8 today between San Diego and Yuma, and you see a black convertible driven by someone with smoke coming out of his ears....that'd be me.

Bandmate bmac has the reason why...turns out that terrorists have rights.

Hmm...terrorists have rights...terrorists have rights...

Nope...

Ain't buyin' it.

In fact, I think Chevy Chase sums up my feelings on the Supreme Court monkeys this morning:

You know, I have the perfect solution here. Libtards hate Gitmo, right? And us knuckle-dragging neocons hate terrorists, right?

Let's just blow up Guantanamo Bay. With the terrorists still there. End of problem.

Anyone else got a better solution? I thought not. I should be freakin' president.

I guess I have to vote for Barack Obama

Wouldn't want to be called a racist, you know...

How dumb is this election going to get? I can't believe this country couldn't find two more qualified candidates. Me? I'm torn between Iowahawk and Grizzly Bear.

Off to Yuma, Arizona on business. It's an exciting and vibrant place:

Taking a break

Yeah...haven't posted for a while. Summer basketball has begun. And my job is kicking my ass on a daily basis. In short...I don't have time to post right now...at least not at my usual level of moronocity.

Oh...and have I ever mentioned that I freakin hate those UPS commercials with that dude who needs a freakin' haircut? And that I need a wife?:

(BTW, I hate sausage. So don't go there...)

Hillary did everything she could

What was Hillary Clinton alluding to when she suggested that she was staying in the race because of what happened to Bobby Kennedy in 1968?

Now comes evidence that she did in fact try everything she could to somehow pull the Democratic nomination out of a hat. But she just couldn't get any help:

(Yes, that's my gal playing Hillary Clinton. She's cuter in those Sonic commercials when she doesn't have to butch up)

I had forgotten this guy was even running

Conflicted as I am about voting for John McCain and knowing their is no freakin' way I could ever punch my card for B. Hussein Obama, I am so glad this guy's candidacy has resurfaced.

Even if he doesn't appear on the ballot, I am writing Iowahawk in for President...based on his environmental policies alone:

As a son of America's rural heartland, the environment is important to me. Like Teddy Roosevelt, America's first "conservation president," I am committed to returning thousands of square miles of ugly American urban development back to its pristine natural state. Much of this will be a direct result of the "Malibu Surge," but other environmental initiatives will help. For example, I will direct the Interior Department to establish wild man-eating cougar preserves in Berkeley CA, Boulder CO, Madison WI, and Park Slope, Brooklyn.

The truth behind what happened to Amazon dot com

Today, Amazon.com went off-line, causing world-wide panic and Amazon's stock price to plummet.

It turns out it was a terrorist plot. The clue is about 1:27 into this video:

News Flash! Gays and Lesbians are offended!

NO!:

At about the 3:47 mark, if you listen carefully, you'll see why gay activism is so dangerous. See...THEY WANT YOUR KIDS.

A good friend of mine summed this up best:

Gays I don't mind...Gay activists, well...

Your This Goes to 11 voter guide for today's election (updated)

Updated: Crap. Sanders wins. San Diego gets four more years of crying, four more years of broken promises, four more years of sanctuary city policies, four more years of financial trainwreckedness (bear with me...I'm making up words today).

The good news? Aguirre is in a run-off with Jan Goldsmith. Ain't no way he survives that.

I'm sorry we have been a little late with this, since I know that the candidates were waiting anxiously for our endorsements.

For Mayor of San Diego, This Goes to 11 supports...Steve Francis. Not that we especially like him or his sucking up to environmentalists.

But he's not a sniveling baby like Jerry Sanders:

It's bad enough that Sanders waffled on his promise to oppose gay marriage. After all, if he went back on that campaign promise...then why should we believe anything he is saying now?

I just cannot vote for a mayor who weeps like a little girl.

For San Diego City Attorney...This Goes to 11 is endorsing Jan Goldsmith. Primarily because he's not this tool:

Anyway, make sure you print out this handy voter guide as you go to the polls today. As far as school board...I don't really give a rat's ass because if I ever have a kid there ain't no freakin' way I'm letting the child go to a public school.

This is the douchebag B. Hussein Obama want to have dialogue with

You know..."without pre-conditions". At least they have something in common...they both hate America:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad predicted on Monday that Muslims would uproot "satanic powers" and repeated his controversial belief that Israel will soon disappear, the Mehr news agency reported.

"I must announce that the Zionist regime (Israel), with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene," he said.

"Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started."

You know, if I were President, I'd want a meeting with this rat too. It would go something like this:

Greetings, you low-life turd. Here's the deal. We're getting pretty sick of listening to your big talk. So I'm going to beat the living shit out of you. Right now.

And when I'm finished with you, you little bastard, I want you to go back to Iran and keep your freakin' mouth shut. And if you don't, I'll call for cruise missles to be strategically shot up your ass and the asses of every Ayatollah and Mullah in Iran.

Now that's what I call diplomacy.

Ahhh...those peaceful Muslims

Can't we just all get along?:

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) - Islamic hard-liners broke up a religious-tolerance rally Sunday in Indonesia, beating demonstrators with bamboo sticks and calling for the deaths of members of a Muslim sect they consider heretical, witnesses said.

About 200 Christians, moderate Muslims and members of Ahmadiyah - an Islamic group the government is considering banning - gathered at the national monument in the nation's capital of Jakarta to celebrate the country's tradition of pluralism, said Gunawan Mohamad, a prominent magazine publisher who took part in the rally.

At least 12 people were injured after members of the Islamic Defenders Front rushed the square, waving flags and swinging sticks, organizer Anick Tohari said.

"Repent or die," shouted men dressed in green and white Islamic outfits as they punched and kicked bleeding protesters, video footage showed.

Children and elderly female demonstrators were caught up in the clash.

I guess to a "non-moderate" Muslim, a message of peace, love and understanding warrants an ass-kicking...even if that includes children and old ladies. Here's a newsclip from Indonesia:

This Goes to 11 turns 1

Happy Birthday to us.

Have we achieved anything in a year?

Nah.

But it's been a lot of fun.

This Goes to 11 pledges to be as snarky and adolescent in year 2 as we were in year 1. Oh, and to piss off even more libtards and Islamotards.

Gee...already a birthday wish comes in for us. Same to you...you hippie freak:

Another candidate for Mom of the Year

Jen at Demure Thoughts brings us this shining example of how to discipline your kid:

Can we give Nancy Pelosi that "D" hat when the kid is done with his punishment?

Flashback...I wonder if this kid has sassed his teacher lately:

Britain prepares for a new Jihad Superstore

An Islamic Center for 70,000 new jihadists:

Tablighi Jamaat claims they are non-violent and non-political.

Yeah, right:

In so far as it speaks at all to outsiders, the organization, founded almost 80 years ago, declares itself to be nonpolitical and nonviolent. Yet, with increasing and alarming frequency, the name of Tablighi Jamaat is cropping up in the worldwide fight against terrorism.

Several of those arrested on August 9 in connection with the alleged plot to blow up airliners en route to America from Britain, had attended Tablighi study sessions in Britain. At least two of the British suicide bombers of July 7, 2005 — Mohammed Siddique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer — had worshipped at a Tablighi-run mosque in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. The failed British shoebomber, Richard Reid, is known to have Tablighi associations, while the path to violent radicalism of John Walker Lindh, now serving 20 years for treason, appears to have begun with his contact with Tablighi missionaries.

Coming soon, to a jihad near you?:

"We have a significant presence of Tablighi Jamaat in the U.S., and we have found that Al Qaeda used them for recruiting, now and in the past," the deputy chief of the FBI's international terrorism section, Michael Heimbach, said.

Robert Spencer has more on Tablighi Jamaat, and their plan for England...
